Job summary

VP Aviation is seeking experienced Aircraft Structural Assemblers for an open-ended contract in Red Oak, Texas. Work in a climate-controlled shop at a 40-hour week with pay of $1,400.00 weekly, not including overtime.

Candidates need a GED or equivalent and at least 5 years of relevant assembly experience, plus ability to drill, use rivet guns, torque wrenches, and read blueprints. Training via Bombardier program is required; entrance assessment will be given.

Job description

VP Aviation is hiring experienced Aircraft Structural Assemblers in Red Oak, TX for an open-ended contract opportunity.

Work in a climate-controlled environment in an area with a low cost of living, with an open-ended contract that gives you the opportunity to stay long term.

Pay is $1,400.00 per week at 40 hours not including overtime. For exact pay rates, including per diem (if qualified),

Candidates must have a GED or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of experience as an aircraft assembler, in manufacturing, or in a similar industry demonstrating the required skillsets.

Qualified candidates should have experience with:

• Drilling close-tolerance holes and installing manufacturing hardware
• Using pneumatic and electric power tools, including drills, rivet guns and torque wrenches
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints

Candidates must also:

• Successfully complete the approved Bombardier initial training program (Bombardier Aviation Apprenticeship Program)
• Successfully pass an entrance assessment demonstrating basic technical skills
