Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with a structural concentration (typically completed sophomore or junior year by summer).
• Coursework in structural analysis and basic material design; familiarity with Revit or AutoCAD is a plus.
• Strong analytical problem-solving, eagerness to learn, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Structural Modeling & Analysis: generate model geometry and load analyses using RAM Structural System, RISA-3D, or ETABS.
• BIM & Documentation: model structural components (steel, concrete, masonry, wood) in Revit.
• Engineering Calculations: perform design calculations for beams, columns, foundations, and connections under PE/SE guidance.
• Code & Load Application: apply building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC) for wind, seismic, snow, dead/live loads.
• Collaboration & Learning: participate in intern sessions, team meetings, and site visits.
