Qualico Steel Company, Inc. is seeking a Structural Steel Welder to join our fabrication team. You will weld structural steel components according to drawings, weld procedures, and our quality standards to support safe, efficient assembly on projects.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, selecting materials, and welding per layouts, while adhering to safety rules, completing overtime as needed, and passing an onsite weld test. Excellent attendance and precision are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints and specifications.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Must be punctual and have a strong work ethic.
• Commitment to safety and PPE adherence.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must pass an onsite weld test.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate structural steel components.
• Interpret specifications and blueprints to determine materials and sequence.
• Follow detailed instructions, processes and procedures.
• Position, align, fit and weld parts per blueprints and layouts.
