Job summary

Yonkers Contracting Company, Inc. is seeking a qualified structural steel superintendent with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

The role involves supervising ironworker crews on erection or demolition of structural steel for projects across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, ensuring quality and adherence to drawings and specifications, and coordinating with fabricators for timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local union work rules.
• Ability to read, review and correct shop and erection drawings.
• OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 required.
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
• Proven ability to collaborate and function effectively as part of a team.
