Job summary

Taurus Industrial Group, LLC is seeking an experienced helper to assist crews in completing structural and pre-fab steel erection projects. You will take direction from foreman to maintain schedule, quality, and progress. You must read blueprints, measure and cut metal parts, and install pieces under supervision.

The role requires OSHA awareness, basic crane rigging, and strong teamwork in varying weather and site conditions. A valid Texas driver’s license and TWIC are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA safety guidelines.
• Read and understand blueprints and project layout.
• Measure and cut metal parts to exact specifications.
• Install or fabricate metal pieces into columns, girders, or other structural frameworks.
• Repair or replace existing steel parts of buildings and other structures.
• Basic crane rigging.
• Operation of scissor lift, boom lift, and other machinery to move metal pieces into place.
• Clean and maintain all tools and equipment to ensure they remain in good condition.
• Follow all industry and governmental regulations on safety protocols.
