Qualifications

• Apprenticeships or vocational welding programs are required or preferred.
• Certifications such as AWS D1.1, ASME, or IWS are commonly required.
• Experience with large-scale construction projects is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, and join metal parts to form complete structures.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding procedure specifications.
