Job summary

Novax Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Project Manager for a Houston-based structural steel firm. You will own projects from budgeting through to completion, coordinating with clients, fabrication teams, and site operations to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.

The role requires 5+ years managing structural steel fabrication or erection, a degree in Construction Management or Engineering (or equivalent), and strong budgeting and drawing-reading skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing structural steel fabrication and/or erection projects.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of project budgets, schedules, and financials.
• Ability to read and interpret construction and steel drawings.
• PMP certification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural steel projects from start to finish.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, costs, and change orders.
• Coordinate fabrication, detailing, and field erection.
• Review structural, architectural, shop, and erection drawings.
• Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Visit fabrication facilities and active job sites as required.
