Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Project Manager in Illinois to oversee large-scale steel projects from award to completion. The ideal candidate has hands-on fabrication and erection experience and can manage projects ranging from 2,500 to 5,000+ tons with strong leadership and communication.

Responsibilities include coordinating fabrication, detailing, erection, and field operations, reviewing drawings and schedules, and maintaining budgets and progress.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing structural steel projects.
• Hands-on with fabrication and erection processes.
• Ability to read and interpret structural/shop drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
