gpac is partnering with a well-established structural steel contractor to fill a Senior Project Manager role in Little Rock, Arkansas. You will oversee complex structural steel projects from contract award through completion, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of structural steel project management experience.
• Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection.
• Experience reading and interpreting structural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, change orders, and contracts.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural steel projects from contract award through final completion.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with estimating, detailing, fabrication, procurement, field operations, and erection teams.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for general contractors, owners, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs, profitability, billing, and overall financial performance.
• Coordinate material procurement and fabrication schedules.
• Identify and resolve project issues to keep work on schedule and within budget.
• Conduct project meetings and provide regular project updates.
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
• Mentor and provide leadership to project engineers and junior project managers.

Job Summary

A well-established structural steel contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee complex structural steel projects from contract award through completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural steel fabrication and erection and the ability to manage projects, customers, schedules, budgets, and internal teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced steel professional to take ownership of significant projects while working with a reputable contractor and a strong project backlog.

Responsibilities

• Manage structural steel projects from contract award through final completion
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project requirements

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Experience with project management software and Microsoft Office
• AISC experience preferred
