Job summary

Synerfac Inc. is seeking a Project Manager (Structural Steel) for the Pottstown, PA area to lead and coordinate steel projects from award through installation.

This full-time role requires close interaction with customers, detailers, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and accurate documentation. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, scheduling, shipping coordination, and site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination or project management.
• Ability to read and review structural drawings.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple internal teams, customers, and vendors.
• Willingness to travel to jobsites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the coordination of structural steel projects from award through completion of install, maintaining correspondence with the customer and all other pertinent parties.
• Bid out detailing and assign projects to detailers.
• Review drawings prior to submittal to verify completion.
• Review returns to ensure all open questions have been answered.
• Save drawings in the correct locations on the network.
• Update deck order and delivery dates.
• Update project status for assigned projects.
• Coordinate shipping with the Production Manager, ownership, and site conditions.
• Coordinate equipment and rentals needed on jobsites.
• Maintain communication with the Production Manager for project scheduling.
• Complete sequencing and load lists for shipping on each project.
• Keep the Production Manager apprised of projects with completed detailing that are production ready.
• Communicate with other Project Managers and ownership as necessary.
• Perform site visits to verify jobsite progress for scheduling needs and to communicate necessary site prep with the customer.
