Job summary

Kinsley Steel, Inc. is seeking a full-time Machine Operator to join our fabrication shop. You will set up and operate state-of-the-art equipment, read CAD drawings, and ensure parts meet design specifications in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include selecting machine settings, measuring materials, choosing appropriate stock, maintaining a clean, safe work area and recording daily operations. Second shift availability is required, and applicants should be reliable, detail-oriented

Qualifications

• Skilled in interpreting CAD drawings, symbols, and notes.
• Ability to read tape measure to within 1/16 inch.
• Experience with CNC machines is preferred.
• Experience with operating overhead crane is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Select correct machine settings for optimal processing operations.
• Measure materials to ensure conformance with design specifications.
• Select appropriate material type, stock size and dimensions as required.
• Keep a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Keep and manage an accurate record of daily operations and materials usage.
