Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum two years fitting experience on large fabricated assemblies.
• Proficiency in FCAW Fillet Weld and related procedures.
• Ability to read and understand welding symbols from shop drawings.
• Strong math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify material sizes and prep before assembly; report issues.
• Critically review fabrication drawings and layouts.
• Layout and fit fabricated steel assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Operate tools and equipment including torches, forks, and cranes.
• Perform welding tasks as required by schedule.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment per policies.
• Adhere to quality, safety and environmental standards.
• Perform related duties to support efficient operations.
