Job summary

McMillen, Inc. is seeking a Structural Staff Engineer (EIT) to design and develop structural solutions for dams, bridges, penstocks, pump stations, and hydroelectric facilities.

The candidate will work across water resource and civil infrastructure projects with emphasis on feasibility, permitting, design, construction, and commissioning. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering, a master’s degree preferred, FE exam passed, and 0–5+ years of design experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
• FE exam taken and working toward PE licensure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish project-specific design criteria using structural codes and jurisdictional requirements.
• Gather and organize historical project information including drawings, reports, and specifications.
• Prepare Design Documentation Reports, Technical Memorandums, and other technical reports.
