Job summary

HCM is seeking a Structural REVIT Modeler in Conshohocken, PA to develop 3D models, create drawings, and support construction documentation across structural systems.

You will coordinate with architectural and MEP teams, maintain BIM standards, and perform quality checks before engineering review. Strong attention to detail and communication skills are essential in our collaborative design environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical school/program certification.
• Three years of experience working as a structural drafter/modeler for building structures.
• Proficiency with REVIT Structural BIM Software with exposure to Autodesk Construction Cloud and Bluebeam.
• Thorough understanding of general building construction, structural symbols, and standard detailing practices.
• Meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving capabilities, and the communication skills necessary to collaborate within a multidisciplinary project environment.

Responsibilities

• Work in REVIT Structure, developing accurate 3D models translating to plans, framing layouts, elevations, sections, and schedules for various structural systems, including structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood framing.
• Link and coordinate structural models with architectural and MEP files to proactively identify and resolve spatial clashes, dimensional conflicts, and constructability issues.
• Work within company BIM standards, template configurations, family creation, and project file maintenance structures.
• Perform self-checks on drawing deliverables for annotation clarity, scaling, and accuracy before submitting them for engineering review.
