Averro is seeking a Structural R&D Engineer to join its new R&D team in the wood products industry. The role focuses on structural analysis, code compliance, and testing to advance engineered wood products from concept to pilot.

You will develop building envelope solutions using hand calculations and Excel, apply IBC/IRC/NDS/ASCE codes, and design tests to turn data into actionable product recommendations. Collaboration with diverse teams is required.

Competenze

5+ years of engineering experience, ideally civil/structural or manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of North American building codes and structural design.
Experience with wood design, engineered wood, or building materials is a plus.
