Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Approximately 6-10+ years of structural engineering experience, preferably building structures.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, Florida licensure advantageous.
Knowledge of Florida Building Code and applicable design standards.
Experience with structural analysis software commonly used in buildings industry.

Responsibilities

Manage structural engineering projects from concept through construction.
Lead analysis and design of concrete, steel, masonry, and other structural systems.
Work on mid-rise and high-rise projects in South Florida.
Prepare and review calculations, drawings, specs, and documents.
Coordinate design with architects, contractors, owners, and other disciplines.
Attend client meetings and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and staffing.
Mentor junior engineers and support business development in Miami.
