Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the design, analysis, and execution of structural engineering projects.
  • Lead teams of engineers, providing mentorship and technical guidance.
  • Act as a primary client liaison, ensuring projects meet design, budget, and timeline expectations.
  • Support or lead business development efforts to expand the firm’s presence in South Florida.
  • Ensure quality control, review calculations and drawings, and conduct field inspections.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative structural solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Level: 10+ years of structural engineering experience with a PE license (Florida preferred).
  • Principal Level: 15+ years of experience, including proven success in business development and team leadership.
  • Experience in commercial, residential, healthcare, and institutional projects.
  • Expertise in structural design and analysis, including steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
  • Proficiency in structural design software (ETABS, RAM, RISA, Revit).
  • Strong knowledge of Florida building codes (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
