Job summary
Oates Associates, Inc. is seeking a senior Project Manager focused on building structural engineering to lead new construction and renovation projects in the St. Louis area.
The role involves working with clients on expansions, repairs, and stand-alone buildings from $10k to $20M. You will mentor junior staff and ensure high-quality design across projects. Ideal candidates have a civil or architectural engineering background, a PE license, and 10+ years of experience with structural steel,
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architectural engineering (master's a plus).
- PE license; SE license is a plus.
- 10+ years of engineering experience.
- Experience with structural steel, reinforced concrete, and/or masonry design.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Working knowledge of RAM, RISA, Revit.
- Working knowledge of IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC codes.
Responsibilities
- Mentor junior staff and review their work for quality and accuracy.
- Support ongoing technical growth of the team.
- Lead on building structural projects including new buildings and renovations.
- Collaborate with clients on expansions, repairs, renovations, and stand-alone buildings ranging from $10k to $20M.
