Job summary

Oates Associates is seeking a project manager focused on structural engineering to lead new building and renovation projects in the St. Louis area.

This role involves working with clients on expansions, repairs, renovations, and stand-alone buildings with project values from $10k to $20M. Ideal candidates have a civil/architectural engineering background, PE license, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, RAM, RISA, and Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architectural engineering; master’s degree a plus.
• Professional engineer license; SE license a plus.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in structural projects.
• Experience with structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of RAM, RISA, Revit.
• Familiarity with IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC building codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage building structural engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with clients on expansions, repairs, renovations, and new buildings.
• Coordinate with design teams and ensure code compliance.
• Lead project scope, schedule, budgeting, and quality control.

Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of structural engineering software - RAM, RISA, Revit
• Working knowledge of building codes - IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $80,000 - $140,000 annually
