Job summary

Oates Associates is a civil/structural engineering firm seeking a civil engineering project manager to lead buildings and site development, drainage, utilities, parks, roadways, trails and campus projects. Work may be from Collinsville, IL and/or St. Louis, MO offices in a hybrid setting.

You will meet with clients, develop plans and documents, and manage scopes, schedules, and budgets across multiple projects, requiring a PE license and 5+ years of MO/IL experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required; master's is a plus.
• PE license required.
• 5+ years of experience with government and private clients in MO/IL.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStation.
• Strong verbal, writing, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and potential clients to discuss projects.
• Actively participate in team meetings to work effectively with team members.
• Apply industry-standard practices to complete work on time.
• Develop person-hour estimates and proposals.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budgets on multiple projects.
• Review construction bids to recommend awards and perform construction administration.
