Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• PE license required, NY registration preferred.
• 8+ years structural engineering design experience in a consulting environment.
• Strong knowledge of NYC Building Codes and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple structural engineering projects including design, budgets, schedules and deliverables.
• Lead project engineers and junior staff through the design process.
• Review structural calculations, drawings, specs, and Construction Documents.
• Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure code compliance and company standards.
• Provide technical guidance on structural analysis, design software, and BIM workflows.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, consultants and clients.
• Prepare engineering proposals and support project fee development.
• Lead design meetings and drive key technical decisions.
