Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering from an accredited University.
• Master''s degree in Structural Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer.
• P.E. or P.Eng. licensure a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Design Documentation Reports, Technical Memorandums and other technical reports.
• Evaluate, select and apply advanced structural design techniques, procedures and criteria.
• Perform structural computations and analysis, by hand calculations and using design software, following current design codes.
• Develop project details and drawings by hand drafting or CAD software.
• Edit project specific technical specifications and assist with the Project Manual.
• Perform services during construction, including submittal review and on-site inspections.
• Develop FEA models and perform linear and non-linear analysis, using available software.
• Evaluate and manage planning, design and construction support services for projects.
• Collection and analysis of field data, as-built plans and engineering reports to establish existing conditions.
• Provide mentorship to other engineering staff.
