As a company, we believe in investing in our team members and providing an environment for growth. We are currently seeking a Structural Project Engineer. This position is eligible for remote work or could be located in our Columbus, OH office.

Principal Responsibilities

1. Read and understand construction documents and gather critical information during inspections.
2. Inspect various structures/silos in the field, identify deficiencies.
3. Collect measurements, photos, and notes during inspections.
4. Perform inspections from lifts or cable rigging, including confined space entry.
5. Collaborate with facility personnel and rigging sub-consultants.
6. Establish positive client relationships and effectively communicate findings.
7. Write detailed technical reports on inspections, observations, and recommendations.
8. Perform structural analysis and work with design teams on repair drawings.
9. Possess design engineering experience in reinforced concrete, steel, masonry, or wood.
10. Coordinate with IMEG's design department for drawing development.
11. Travel out-of-state for inspections, approximately 1-2 weeks per month.

Required Skills/Abilities

1. Manage multiple projects concurrently.
2. Proficient in technical report writing.
3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently and in teams.
5. Meet client schedules and project deadlines.
6. Proficient in RISA, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD.

Education and Experience

1. Bachelor's in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering (required).
2. Master's in Structural Engineering (preferred).
3. PE License (required).
4. Minimum 5 years of experience in bulk material handling design consulting.
5. Knowledge of ACI, AISC, IBC codes.
6. Certifications like MSHA, OSHA 10, Confined Space Entry.
7. Position not eligible for sponsorship.
