Job summary

Glory Hill is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to support the analysis, design, and delivery of building projects across multiple market sectors. You will work closely with experienced architects, planners, and engineers while managing small to mid-sized projects from concept through construction.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in structural engineering, a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, and an EIT with progress toward PE/SE licensure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional structural engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering required.
• EIT certification with active progress toward PE/SE licensure.
• Working knowledge of IBC, ASCE, AISC, and ACI codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building systems and materials.
• Develop computer models and calculations to support design decisions.
• Prepare construction documents including drawings, specifications, calculations, reports.
• Participate in construction administration: review shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, field observations.
• Collaborate with clients and design team in meetings.
• Conduct field inspections and structural investigations.
• Support production through Revit modeling and coordination.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative environment alongside experienced architects, planners, and engineers while managing small to mid-sized projects from concept through construction.

• Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building systems and materials
• Develop computer models and engineering calculations to support design decisions
• Prepare construction documents including drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, and technical correspondence
• Participate in construction administration activities, including review of shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and field observations

Qualifications

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification with active progress toward PE or SE licensure
• Working knowledge of applicable building codes and standards, including IBC, ASCE, AISC, and ACI
• Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as RAM, ETABS, ADAPT, SAFE, and Revit
• Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to take on increasing responsibility and new technical challenges

Compensation

• Anticipated salary range: $80,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience
