Matrix Design Group, Inc. is seeking a seasoned structural engineer to own design assignments for diverse projects including buildings, bridges, and water infrastructure. Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters in civil engineering with emphasis in structural engineering.
• Professional Engineer licensure or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive structural engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural calculations per codes and project requirements.
• Prepare drawings, construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality projects on schedule and within budget.
• Prepare supporting documentation, permitting packages, and technical reports for multiple jurisdictions.
• Contribute to process improvements and growth of the structural practice.
