Job summary

AppleOne is seeking a Structural Project Engineer in El Cajon, CA to support the design, coordination, and delivery of commercial and residential projects from design through construction. This role offers growth within a collaborative and dynamic team.

The position requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, 3+ years of experience, California EIT, and proficiency with Revit and related analysis tools. Salary ranges from $85,000 to $105,000 DOE and is based on direct hire status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering required.
• Minimum 3 years structural engineering experience.
• California EIT required; PE license preferred.
• Experience with concrete, steel, wood, and masonry design.

Responsibilities

• Design structural systems for new construction, renovations, and tenant improvement projects.
• Prepare structural calculations, reports, specifications, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with architects and multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Utilize Autodesk Revit, structural analysis software, and drafting software to develop design documents.
• Conduct field investigations, construction observations, review submittals, and respond to RFIs.
• Assist with project proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates.
• Manage multiple project assignments while maintaining quality and schedule requirements.
