Job summary

Ramboll US Corporation in Arlington, VA seeks an engineer with strong fundamentals to deliver design calculations, reports and contract documents across proposal, design, and construction phases. You will maintain clear communications with project teams and review project schedules and budgets.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in engineering, FE exam pass, and active involvement in professional training. Revit experience is a plus, with opportunities for licensure within two years.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or Master's Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
Proficiency with Finite Element Analysis software (Required).
Experience with Autodesk Revit (Preferred).
Successfully passed the FE exam (Required) with intent to pursue Professional Engineering Licensure within two years.
Gains knowledge through participation in technical societies and attendance at internal and external training programs.

Responsibilities

Completing assignments requiring a knowledge of engineering fundamentals and the application of these fundamentals to the production of engineering deliverables.
Executing a variety of engineering tasks including preparation of reports, investigatory studies, engineering design calculations and preparation of Contract Documents.
Maintaining routine communications with the project team members during proposal, design and construction phases of a project.
Reviewing schedules and budgets of projects under their supervision.
Preparing proposals and conducting efforts supporting business development activities.
Performing detailed checking of completed work performed under their direct supervision.
Visiting job sites to review work in progress, gain field experience, and advance practical engineering skills.
