Job summary

Ramboll US Corporation seeks an engineer with a Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience (or a Master’s with 2+ years) to deliver engineering work that applies fundamentals to reports, studies, calculations, and contract documents. You’ll maintain regular contact with the project team during proposal, design, and construction phases.

Proficiency with Finite Element Analysis is required; Autodesk Revit is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience; or
• Master's Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency with Finite Element Analysis software (Required)
• Experience with Autodesk Revit (Preferred)
• Successfully passed the FE exam (Required) with intent to pursue Professional Engineering Licensure within two years
• Gains knowledge through participation in technical societies and attendance at internal and external training programs

Responsibilities

• Completing assignments requiring a knowledge of engineering fundamentals and the application of these fundamentals to the production of engineering deliverables
• Executing a variety of engineering tasks including preparation of reports, investigatory studies, engineering design calculations and preparation of Contract Documents
• Maintaining routine communications with the project team members during proposal, design and construction phases of a project
• Reviewing schedules and budgets of projects under their supervision
• Preparing proposals and conducting efforts supporting business development activities
• Performing detailed checking of completed work performed under their direct supervision
• Visiting job sites to review work in progress, gain field experience, and advance practical engineering skills
