Job summary

McNamara • Salvia, Structural Engineers is seeking a Project Engineer to grow in structural design of steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures. You will work both independently and with the team to apply your knowledge.

Duties include all aspects of design, preparation of drawings and calculations, construction administration, and meetings with clients. Requires 3+ years in structural engineering, EIT, and experience with RAM Concept, ETABS, ADAPT, SAFE and REVIT.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in structural engineering with emphasis on building structures.
• Passed Engineer-in-Training exam.
• Familiarity with building fundamentals and design codes such as IBC, ASCE, AISC and ACI.
• Experience with RAM Concept, ETABS, ADAPT, SAFE and REVIT.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of structural engineering design.
• Preparation of drawings, specifications, calculations, models, reports and correspondence.
• Construction Administration including review of shop drawings, submittals, RFIs and field observation.
• Attend internal and external meetings with clients and design team members.
