Job summary

Ramboll in the United States seeks a Structural Project Engineer to join our structural department and collaborate with engineers and architects on projects across industrial, energy and building sectors.

The candidate will have passed the FE exam and plans to pursue PE licensure within two years; a Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience or a Master’s with 2+ years; proficiency in Finite Element Analysis software and familiarity with Autodesk Revit is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years of relevant experience; or Master’s Degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Finite Element Analysis software (Required)
• Experience with Autodesk Revit (Preferred)
• Successfully passed the FE exam with intent to pursue Professional Engineering Licensure within two years

Responsibilities

• Completing assignments requiring a knowledge of engineering fundamentals and the application of these fundamentals to the production of engineering deliverables
• Executing a variety of engineering tasks including preparation of reports, investigatory studies, engineering design calculations and preparation of Contract Documents
• Maintaining routine communications with the project team members during proposal, design and construction phases of a project
• Reviewing schedules and budgets of projects under their supervision
• Preparing proposals and conducts efforts supporting business development activities
• Performing detailed checking of completed work performed under their direct supervision
• Visiting job sites to review work in progress, gain field experience, and advance practical engineering skills
