Job summary

Ramboll US Corporation is seeking an entry level Structural Designer to join the Structural Department. You will help create building design solutions across municipal, industrial, institutional, and commercial projects, with a focus on sustainability and collaboration.

You will work under supervision to prepare drawings and analyses using Autodesk Revit, adhere to Ramboll standards, support field experiences, and develop your professional skills in a global engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree related to Architecture or Structural Technology.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit.
• Willingness to grow and learn new market sectors and areas where you lack experience.
• Confident communicator with colleagues and clients, ability to interact directly with clients, work independently with direction and support from senior staff, actively participate in team development and individual professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural engineering and construction drawings for all phases using Autodesk Revit.
• Adhere to Ramboll drafting standards and client/industry standards.
• Participate in the Ramboll CAD/BIM Coordinator Certification program.
• Act as CAD/BIM Coordinator on selected projects.
• Review vendor drawings/submittals for contract compliance.
• Visit job sites to gain field experience and develop practical engineering skills.
• Contribute to safety culture in office and field.
• Analyze survey data and create design deliverables for review.
• Perform calculations under supervision and develop design elements.
