Job summary

IMEG is hiring a Structural Project Engineer in Chicago, IL to lead design efforts as a project manager or lead engineer for low to moderate complexity projects and collaborate with senior staff on larger and high complexity projects.

You will perform engineering analysis, design, and oversight of structural systems for buildings and other structures, and work with a team to provide solutions, manage budgets, and mentor cross-functional colleagues to meet client goals.

IMEG is hiring a Structural Project Engineer in Chicago, IL to lead design efforts as a project manager or lead engineer for low to moderate complexity projects and collaborate with senior staff for the delivery of larger and high complexity projects. This role is responsible for engineering analysis, design, and implementation oversight of structural systems for buildings and other structures.

You will work closely with a team of engineers and consultants to provide engineering solutions and advice to clients, work within the project’s monetary budget, and train, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and client expectations. The team supports commercial and institutional work across Chicagoland and the broader Midwest, contributing to sustainable design goals including SE2050.
