Manage the planning and structural design for multiple public and private clients such as TxDOT, counties, cities, and MUDs across Texas.

Perform and oversee structural design of bridges, water and wastewater plants, junction boxes, and retaining walls.

Conduct QC or QA reviews and collaborate with staff to complete projects.

Mentor EITs and interns.

Attend design meetings and interact with clients to develop relationships.

May involve field activities like coordination with construction, inspections, and site reviews.

Manage project quality, timeliness, and finances, including scope, budgets, and proposals for contracts.

Partner with senior staff to maintain and develop client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years experience designing concrete bridges for transportation projects, with plans and specifications for clients like TxDOT, cities, counties, and tolling authorities.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas.
• Valid TX driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Proficient with structural engineering software including BGS, OpenBridge Designer, STAAD, Robot, Bridge Link, Leap Bridge.
