Tetra Tech is seeking a Bridge Engineer, PE - Remote, to join our Transportation team based in Toledo, OH.

Your Role:

1. Design bridges, culverts, and retaining walls.
2. Plan production including 3D modeling and CADD.
3. Conduct load rating analysis of bridges.
4. Utilize structural design software.
5. Prepare structural evaluation studies, structure-type studies, and similar reports.
6. Compute estimated quantities, plan notes, and develop cost estimates.
7. Conduct site visits to support the design process.
8. Supervise project design and progress, coordinating with state and local officials, outside agencies, and sub-consultants.
9. Participate in business development and client meetings.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
2. Professional Engineer (PE) license, required.
3. 10+ years of engineering experience, including bridge design and plan production.
4. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
5. Familiarity with Ohio DOT bridge design standards.
6. Experience with software such as OpenRoads, AutoCAD, OpenBridge Designer, AASHTOWare BrR.
7. Experience as a Bridge Inspection Team Leader is a plus.
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
9. Willingness to travel approximately 15% or more.

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000, DOE.
