Position Overview

We are hiring a Senior Structural Bridge Engineer to join us remotely to support projects in East Florida.

Project Examples

• CFX SR 414 Expressway: a $365 million, 54-span elevated viaduct in Maitland, FL.
• Broad Causeway Drawbridge Replacement: a $180 million high-level fixed water crossing near Miami, FL.
• I-70 Floyd Hill: a project to improve a dangerous stretch of interstate west of Denver, including designing approximately 6 miles of roadway and bridges.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and interpret, organize, and execute project assignments.
• Investigate problems and develop solutions.
• Conduct quality control checks and oversee design work.
• Stay updated on the latest methods and developments.
• Recommend improvements.
• Manage routine to semi-complex projects, including marketing, contracts, budgeting, and scheduling.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering; M.S. preferred.
• PE license required.
• Experience with FDOT projects is a plus.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Typically 6 to 10 years of relevant experience.
