Wright Structural Engineers is seeking a Structural Engineer with 8+ years of experience to tackle complex structural challenges. You will contribute to diverse nationwide projects and engage with senior mentors as you grow toward project management and leadership roles.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of structural engineering experience on building projects.
• BS or MS in civil engineering with structural emphasis from an ABET-accredited program.
• IBC knowledge; CBC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural calculations and drawings for diverse projects.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, clients and engineers.
• Lead and manage projects within a team; grow into leadership roles.
• Be mentored by senior engineers and mentor junior staff as the firm grows.

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural calculations and drawings for projects of all material types and sizes
• Work closely and build relationships with architects, contractors, clients, and other engineers
• Manage your own projects and work as part of a team on other projects
• Be mentored by more experienced engineers and mentor younger engineers as the company grows

Position requirements

• BS or MS degree in civil engineering with structural emphasis from an ABET accredited program
• 8+ years of structural engineering experience on relevant building projects
• Proficiency in common structural engineering and office tools including RISA, EnerCalc or similar, Excel, Bluebeam
• Working knowledge with IBC required, CBC preferred
