Title: Structural Project Engineer

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 DOE

Working closely with architects, contractors, developers, and project stakeholders, we deliver practical, code-compliant designs that support projects from concept through construction. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Structural Project Engineer to support the design and analysis of building structures, prepare structural calculations and construction documents, coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams, review shop drawings and RFIs, and contribute to projects involving steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood structures throughout both the design and construction phases.
What You Will Be Doing
- Design and analyze structural systems for residential, commercial, and multifamily projects using steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, wood, and light-gauge steel construction
- Prepare structural calculations, construction documents, specifications, and engineering designs while ensuring compliance with applicable building codes and industry standards
- Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software to develop accurate design solutions and support project execution from concept through completion
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, MEP engineers, and internal project teams to ensure design coordination, constructability, and successful project delivery
- Support construction-phase activities by reviewing shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals, conducting site visits and field observations, and helping resolve technical challenges throughout the construction process
What You Need for This Position
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited U.S. institution, with a strong foundation in structural analysis and building design. EIT certification is required for non-licensed candidates, and PE licensure is a plus.
- Experience designing and analyzing building structures utilizing steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, wood, and light-gauge steel systems in residential, commercial, and multifamily applications.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, structural analysis software, and engineering design tools. Familiarity with Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
- Strong understanding of applicable building codes and industry standards, including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC, with the ability to prepare structural calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
- Experience supporting construction-phase services, including shop drawing review, RFIs, submittals, site visits, field observations, and coordination with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams
