GRAEF, a leading U.S. consulting firm, invites a Structural Practice Team Leader to join our Minneapolis, MN office. You will manage a high-performing group, lead project design teams, and mentor staff while collaborating directly with clients.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree with structural emphasis, 8+ years of experience, and MN PE licensure. Strong communication, business development, and Revit are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the structural design of commercial buildings.
• PE license in MN required.
• Experience with business development activities such as marketing, proposals and client development.
• Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.
• Experience in leading and mentoring staff for career development and advancement.
• Knowledge of Revit is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and responsibility of projects, pursuits, and staff within the Structural discipline of our Minneapolis office.
• Project/Team oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, team financial management, and project staffing/work-sharing with other offices.
• The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.
• Business development activities such as marketing, proposals and client development.
• Client management, including abilities to negotiate contracts and develop client engagement activities.
• Professional society involvement.
