Job summary

GRAEF is seeking a Structural Engineer Intern in Minneapolis for a hands-on learning experience within our established technical group. You will collaborate on projects, learn design and documentation practices, and contribute to Revit-based construction documentation under supervision.

The role targets students pursuing Civil or Architectural Engineering with a Structural focus, with Fall/Spring internship flexibility in a collaborative, office-based setting.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or architectural Engineering with Structural emphasis.
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering would be considered a plus.
• Previous Internship experience preferred.
• Revit experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Learn design and specifications for a variety of existing facilities.
• Assemble design documentation, reports, and quantity calculations for checking.
• Use of Revit for construction documentation and coordination with project team members.
• Perform work as part of a team, in accordance with project budget and schedule under supervision.

We have an exciting Internship opportunity available for a student pursuing their degree in Structural Engineering in our Minneapolis office. This internship offers a rewarding experience and an opportunity to learn from a well-established technical group. To be considered for our Internship position, we are seeking candidates who meet the following basic qualifications:

• A current student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or architectural Engineering with Structural emphasis in course work.


• Students currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering would be considered a plus.


• Previous Internship experience preferred.


• Revit experience preferred but not required.
