Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Appleton, WI seeks a Structural Mechanic II to join a production team. You will perform detailed structural assembly, riveting, and sheet metal work, following blueprints, LOFTs, and work orders to ensure quality and conformance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and about two years of related experience. Training in Solumina/Smarteam is preferred; first-shift operations and a strong safety mindset are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years related structural assembly experience recommended.
• Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform assembly and riveting operations per drawings and specs.
• Rivet structural assemblies using portable riveting tools and verify fit.
• Read work orders, blueprints, lofts, and operation sheets to plan sequence and hole patterns.
• Check all work to ensure defect-free assemblies before final inspection.
• Maintain logs/records (MIRs, DMTs, PCOs) and coordinate with shifts.
