Job summary

Buro Happold Limited is seeking a motivated Structural Intern to join our team and contribute to innovative and sustainable engineering solutions. Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in structural, civil or architectural engineering.
• Coursework in structural analysis, advanced steel design, and reinforced concrete design.
• Proficiency with Revit and 3D modeling tools is a plus.
• Interest in built environment and sustainable design.
• Willingness to learn and work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept to completion
• Perform structural analysis, design tasks, and calculations under supervision
• Participate in interdisciplinary project meetings and collaborate with design teams
• Assist in preparing technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation
• Support structural embodied carbon assessments and sustainability initiatives
• Contribute to site visits and help monitor construction progress

Your key duties

Your skills and experience

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in structural, civil or architectural engineering with an emphasis on structures
• Relevant coursework in structural analysis, advanced steel design, advanced reinforced concrete design
• Revit and 3D modeling skills (Rhino, SketchUp, etc.) are a plus
• Demonstrated interest in the built environment and sustainable design
• Eagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
