Buro Happold in New York is seeking a motivated Graduate Structural Engineer to contribute to innovative and sustainable projects from concept to completion. You will work with leaders in the field, perform detailed structural analysis and calculations, prepare drawings and design documentation, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in structural, civil, or architectural engineering with emphasis on structures.
• Internship and/or coursework projects showing structural design experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Revit and 3D modeling tools.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the progression and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Perform detailed structural analysis, design, and calculations.

• Contribute to the progression and delivery of structural engineering projects from concept to completion

Your skills and experience

• Master’s degree in structural, civil, or architectural engineering with an emphasis on structures
• Relevant coursework in structural analysis, advanced steel design and advanced reinforced concrete design
• Structural project design experience via prior internship and/or coursework projects (prior engineering internship experience is preferred)
• Familiarity with Revit and 3D modeling (Rhino, SketchUp, etc.)
• Interest and/or experience in visual programming (Dynamo, Grasshopper), coding (Python, C#), and open-source coding projects is a plus
• Demonstrated interest in the built environment and sustainable design
• Eagerness to learn and work as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Salary range of $80,000 to $83,000. This will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience
