Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Structural Inspection Team Leader to oversee on-site condition inspections of bridges, culverts, and structural assets for NYSDOT and other clients.

You will lead field teams, prepare condition reports, and recommend repairs while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. A Civil Engineering degree and professional licensure are preferred, with experience in elevated work and access equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
• New York Professional Engineering License preferred.
• Ability to work at height and near active traffic.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Word and Excel skills needed.
• Diving certifications or drone piloting skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site structural inspections per standards (Visual, Tactile, NDT).
• Prepare reports documenting conditions and suggest repairs.
• Operate access equipment including drones and aerial devices.
