Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen Inc. seeks an Assistant Team Leader to conduct structural condition inspections on transportation infrastructure under supervision of a licensed professional.

You will inspect bridges, culverts, and related structures and assist in documenting findings for NYSDOT, NYSTA, and related agencies. We value candidates with civil engineering education and bridge experience, comfortable with heights, and proficient in MS Office and drafting tools such as AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Associate's Degree in Engineering with bridge-related experience.
• Ability to work at height and near active traffic.
• Proficiency with MS Office and drafting software (AutoCAD/MicroStation) preferred.
• Diving certs or rope access credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site structural condition inspections under supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Assist in preparing reports documenting observed conditions.
• Operate equipment as needed for inspections and data collection.
