Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen Inc. (GPI) has an exciting opening for an Assistant Team Leader assigned to our structural condition inspection contracts with NYSDOT, NYSCC, NYSTA and NYPA.

In this role, the candidate would work with a professionally licensed Team Leader, inspecting in-service infrastructure such as bridges, culverts, water control structures and overhead highway signs. GPI is a multi-discipline engineering firm providing planning, design, and construction services nationwide for over 50

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent with bridge experience.
• Ability to work at height and adjacent to traffic.
• Proficiency with MS Office; AutoCAD and/ or MicroStation preferred.
• Diving or rope access credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site structural condition inspections underPE supervision (Visual, Tactile & NDT).
• Assist in preparing reports documenting observed conditions.
• Operate platforms, drones, and remotely operated underwater vehicles.
