Job summary

Abbott is hiring a Clinical Specialist to support education for clinicians and to provide procedure coverage in a defined region. The role emphasizes training interventional cardiologists and cath lab staff on Structural Heart products with strong clinical orientation.

Applicants should have extensive cardiovascular experience, including Structural Heart or EP, and will travel up to 50% as needed to support customers and drive market strategies.

Qualifications

• BS/BA or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of cardiovascular work experience; 3+ years of Structural Heart or Electrophysiology specific clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and sales education to current and potential customers and offer procedure coverage within a defined region.
• Train interventional cardiologists, cath lab staff and ancillary personnel on Structural Heart products.
• Provide technical support to physicians during procedures.
• Communicate product, clinical and market data to relevant personnel and support product marketing strategies.
