Job summary

MarinHealth in California seeks a qualified NP or PA to join the Structural Heart APP team. You will provide comprehensive clinical care for patients with valvular and structural heart disease in collaboration with interventional cardiologists and surgeons.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-procedural care, coordinating care, ordering tests, and supporting procedures such as TAVR, M-TEER, T-TEER, and LAAC, while educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum NP/PA credential with board certification (ANCC/AANP or NCCPA)
• Active California NP or PA license
• BLS/ACLS certification
• DEA license (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive history and physical exams for structural heart patients
• Evaluate and manage valvular heart disease, including aortic stenosis and regurgitation
• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (echocardiograms, CTs, labs)
• Assist with patient selection and peri-procedural management for TAVR, M-TEER, T-TEER, LAAC
• Coordinate multidisciplinary heart team meetings and patient flow
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, options, and recovery
