Job summary

St. Peters Health Partners and Albany Associates in Cardiology in Albany, NY, seek a Board Certified or Eligible Structural Heart Interventional Cardiologist to join our growing team. You will lead complex interventional care and collaborate with surgeons, imaging, and anesthesia staff.

The role features a comprehensive program with a shared call schedule, opportunities for leadership, and strong regional referral relationships to expand the program's reach.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Structural Heart Interventional Cardiology.
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice in New York State.
• Strong clinical skills and commitment to excellence in patient care.
• Team-oriented with ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic evaluation and management of patients with complex structural heart disease, including valvular disease, congenital defects, and cardiomyopathies.
• Serve as a primary interventional operator or co operator for TAVR, MitraClip/TEER, Watchman, PFO/ ASD closure, paravalvular leak closure, and other catheter-based interventions.
• Interpret advanced cardiac imaging studies (TEE, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI) with imaging colleagues.
• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure care, including risk assessment, optimization, and long-term follow-up.
• Participate in and lead multidisciplinary Structural Heart Team meetings.
