Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join our renewable energy team. The company has a highly experienced and dynamic team dedicated to providing high-level professional services to clients.

Responsibilities

• Design of foundations, ancillary structures, and anchorage for utility-scale substations in renewable markets.
• Prepare or oversee structural design reports, specifications, and plans. Review and approve project submittals, RFIs, and support field activities during construction.
• Provide technical support to multiple projects.
• Support project managers internally and externally on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318 standards.
• Experience with foundations, connection and anchorage design, steel member design, and concrete design.
• Experience with construction projects, inspections, RFIs, and seismic design.
• Technical skills: MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Bluebeam, Finite Element Analysis, Life Cycle Analysis, industrialized construction.
• EIT/FE certification preferred.
• Must have current authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
