ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Digital I&C Process Engineer for our client in the Nuclear industry. In this role, you will complete the required procedures, plans, and instructions needed to implement the Digital Component Software Quality Program in a manner specific to the Department of Energy (DOE) requirements for advanced Nuclear technology.

• Assess corporate digital procedures and tools for use by the digital component lifecycle process and provide input for alignment as appropriate.
• Develop, and implement procedures, forms, work guides, tools, and training material related to the digital component lifecycle including digital specific instructions for design control, configuration management, and other engineering processes.
• Authoring the process documents including procedures and plans using the requirements and methods selected for the project.
• Author the training & familiarization materials to prepare individuals to design, develop, and deliver digital components to the process.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• B.S. or higher in relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• 3 years of nuclear energy engineering experience OR 5 years of experience writing nuclear power plant procedures.
• 2 years of experience in NQA-1 Subpart 2.7.
• Preferred to have IEEE 1012 or EPRI process for designing, developing, procuring, and delivering digital components and configurations.
• Experience in writing guides or instructions to support processes and procedures
